Chen Ying is a trademark counsel based in the firm’s Beijing office since 2011.

Ms. Chen excels in providing comprehensive IP services to the clients with regard to routine trademark matters, bad-faith trademark filings, Customs protection, domain name, copyright registration, and administrative litigation. Her practice mainly covers trademark prosecution and administrative litigation such as registration, opposition, review, invalidation and cancellation.

Ms. Chen’s foreign client portfolio includes magnates from US, Europe and Canada, covering wide range of industries like IT, luxuries, medicines, FMCG, apparel, entertainment and retail. She represents a dozen world renowned clients including a few Fortune 500 companies. Her quick response, meticulousness and client-oriented philosophy has been applauded by the clients.

Ms. Chen has been instrumental in helping a client maintain the registration of one of its trademarks of strategical significance, a case that has been included in the SPC’s Annual 50 Exemplary Cases of 2018.
