Ms. Zhang Chen is a Patent Attorney based in the firm’s Beijing office , where she has been practising since 2015. Her major areas of technical expertise are chemistry, material and mechanics.

Ms. Zhang’s expertise primarily focuses on prosecuting design patents, with her practice including availability search and FTO analysis, filing applications, responding to office actions, re-examination as well as advising in a spectrum of design strategy and other con-contentious matters. She has prosecuted over 2,000 design patent applications, and conducted more than 200 FTO analysis.

Ms. Zhang has extensive experience in design invalidation and infringement suits. She frequently attends oral hearings, collects invalidation evidences, and represents clients before courts in administration litigation and civil infringement proceeding involving design patents. Her practice also extends to copyright registration.
