Personal description
Hewen ZHAO is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Beijing office. He has been practicing patent law since 2010. His experience includes patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent invalidation, and opinion work relating to patent infringement, patentability, FTO and validity analysis and other technology-related matters.
Hewen’s technical expertise covers electronic engineering, software, telecommunication, mechanical engineering, and business method. His active industry sectors include manufacturing, telecommunication operator, internet, machinery, medical and household devices, and semiconductor.
Hewen has rich experience in representing client before various district courts and administrative offices, higher courts and the Supreme Court, and handling invalidation case before SIPO. Prior to joining WANHUIDA, Hewen worked with a patent law firm, where he prosecuted hundreds of invention applications.
