Personal description
Mr. Liu Bin is a Partner based in the firm's Beijing office, where he has practiced since 2008. He is a trademark attorney practicing since 1992.
Mr. Liu is chiefly engaged in prosecuting trademark for Chinese business magnates and organizing and coordinating IPR administrative and judicial protection programs for oversea clients.
Mr. Liu's practice focuses on administrative and judicial protection for intellectual property, principally enforcement programs for trademark, patent and copyright, as well as copyright & domain name registration. He is also capable of helping the clients building up solid IPR defense in China.
He has supervised multiple highly sophisticated criminal investigations and personally coordinated large varieties of criminal enforcement in Beijing. Through close working relations with the local law enforcement authorities, Mr. Liu managed to defend the clients' rights and interests by help incriminating dozens of counterfeiters and pirates in a dozen of high profile cases. By doing this, he and his team manage to stop infringement at early point and prevent millions of dollars' damage to clients' interests.
Prior to joining in the firm, Mr. Liu has been working as the Partner and the Deputy General Manager of a local mid-sized IP firm.
