According to the National Standards Bulletin of the People's Republic of China (No. 1 in 2020) issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the State Standardization Administration on March 6, 2020, the latest version of the national standard on personal information protection, officially entitled GB/T 35273-2020 Information Security Technology – Personal Information Security Specification (hereinafter “the Standard”) is released by the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee. The Standard will come into effect on October 1, 2020.
