New York, New York—March 17, 2023—The International Trademark Association (INTA) is pleased to announce that Beijing-based Wanhuida Intellectual Property has continued its strategic sponsorship with INTA in 2023. Wanhuida has been a long-time leader in the intellectual property (IP) industry. It has 10 offices covering major IP hubs throughout China and serves clients worldwide across a broad spectrum of industries.

“Wanhuida Intellectual Property has been a friend to INTA for many years and it is my pleasure to engage with them as our Strategic Sponsor for a second year. This is a milestone which not only solidifies our commitment to work together to address issues of mutual concern, it stands as a testament to the support they’ve shown INTA in China and beyond,” said INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo.

“Wanhuida is very proud to have the opportunity to continuously support INTA as a Strategic Sponsor. INTA has provided us tremendous opportunities to interact with so many members from all over the world, and we would like to make our contributions to the community as a giveback,” said Wanhuida IP Founding Partner and Management Committee Chair Bai Gang, a long time INTA member, most recently serving on the Association’s Board of Directors.

INTA’s Strategic Sponsorship is an exclusive opportunity being offered to a select group of organizations whose industry vision and business strategy align with the Association’s priorities in its Strategic Plan. Strategic Sponsors enjoy unparalleled opportunities to engage with the global IP community throughout the year.

Wanhuida’s sponsorship offers it a unique and broad opportunity to engage with INTA’s global membership. INTA’s The Business of Data Conference, taking place in New York City, March 22–23, will be the first event of the year at which Wanhuida’s Platinum Sponsorship will be on full display. The conference program will focus on the recent regulatory developments in the space of data, cyber security, and privacy and what they represent for IP legal practitioners, their businesses and brands, and their clients.

Wanhuida will also be a prominent participant at INTA’s other professional gatherings, including the 2023 Trademark Administrators & Practitioners (TMAP) Meeting taking place in Denver, Colorado, October 1–3, and will host roundtables during the year.

In addition, Wanhuida has participated as a Project Team Member in the planning of the most significant IP event of the year, INTA’s 2023 Annual Meeting Live+, in person in Singapore from May 16 to May 20 and virtually from June 27 to June 29. They will also send a significant contingent of 13 registrants to the Meeting and Hui Huang, Partner, Management committee member at Wanhuida, will speak on the IP and Innovation track panel session, “China Case Law Update—Know Before You Go: Green Shoots in China IP.” This is the first time that the China Case Law Update will take place in person at the INTA Annual Meeting.

“Ours is an ongoing relationship we value for the work that we do together and for the contributions Wanhuida makes to our Association and community,” added Mr. Sanz de Acedo.
