On 4 December 2019, the “Hotspot Issues in Trademark Infringement and Defense” Seminar, which is jointly organised by the Intellectual Property Legal Committee of Fujian Provincial Lawyers Association and the Intellectual Property Committee of Xiamen Lawyers Association, is held in Xiamen.

Wanhuida Intellectual Property Partner Dr. Huang Hui is invited to lecture on subject matter. Dr. Huang elaborates on the categorization of trademark infringement (causing confusion or association), dissects the parameters for ascertaining trademark infringement, and expatiates on trademark infringement defense from the perspective of trademark right defect of the plaintiff, the registration, use and objective status of the defendant’s trademark, as well as non-trademark and trademark use of the defendant.
