Wanhuida Partner speaks at IPKey event

On 1-2 December 2021, the “2021 EU-China Forum on Criminal IP Enforcement”, which is co-organized by IP Key China and QBPC, is held at Kempinski Hotel, Beijing.


Helene Juramy, Trade Section, EU Delegation to China and Michael Ding, QBPC Chair from ABB deliver opening remarks at the seminar. The seminar features panel discussions on “International collaboration and exchange on the Criminal Enforcement of IP”, “New trends and challenges on the Criminal Enforcement of IP”, “Joint governance and collaboration among stakeholders on Criminal IP Enforcement” and “Economic elements on the criminal enforcement of IP”.


Zhu Zhigang, Partner at Wanhuida Intellectual Property speaks on “Criminal protection of GI collective trademark in China” in the “Joint governance and collaboration among stakeholders on Criminal IP Enforcement” panel.


Fellow speakers include Yifeng Wang, Chief of the Fourth Detachment of Guangzhou Food, Drug and Environment Crime Investigation Department of Public Security Bureau, Peter Yang, QBPC BPEC Vice Chair from Eaton, Thomas Jullien from the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB or Bordeaux Wine Council), Salvatore Paiano, Enforcement Officer at the Italian Embassy as well as Tangi Olier, Head of the Counterfeit Department, Service of Information, Intelligence and Strategic Analysis on Organised Crime, French National Counterfeit Office.


The panel is moderated by Andrea Caballe, Activity Coordinator at IP Key China.


The seminar is concluded by the closing remarks delivered by Benoit Misonne, IP Attaché to the Delegation of the European Union to China assigned by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and Xiaoyang Qu, QBPC Vice Chair from Medtronic.

 

The seminar attracts over 200 attendees including representatives from law enforcement authorities, procuratorate, businesses, industrial associations, as well as other stakeholder organisations.
