Wanhuida Partner speaks at oriGIn webinar

On 15th September 2022, the Organization for an International Geographical Indications Network (oriGIn) organized a webinar themed “Best practices exchange on applying for GI protection in China under the existing systems”.


Attendees include GI owners like Brunello di Montalcino, Cognac, Prosciutto di Parma, Tequila, Scotch Whisky, Swiss Watches Federation, aceto balsamico di Modena, among others.


Zhu Zhigang, Partner of Wanhuida Intellectual Property speaks on “GI protection in China” and interacts with other attendees in a Q&A session on a slew of hot-button issues surrounding the application for registration and enforcement of GIs in China.


oriGIn is a non-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Geneva. Established in 2003, oriGIn is a global alliance of Geographical Indications (GIs) from a large variety of sectors, representing some 576 associations of producers and other GI-related institutions from 40 countries.
