On 29^th September 2023, the “China Intellectual Property Protection Symposium”, which is organized by French association Unifab, is held in Paris.

Wanhuida Intellectual Property Partners Dr. Huang Hui, Paul Ranjard and Zhu Zhigang give the attendees an informative introduction on the latest legislative updates on China’s Trademark Law, Unfair Competition Law and Civil Procedure Law, the circumstances surrounding the suspension procedure at the China Trademark Office, the Supreme People’s Court’s reopening its door to trademark infringement retrial applications by way of elevation of jurisdiction, as well as the exemplary cases selected by the SPC and courts at various levels in the past year.

The event attracts over 40 corporate counsels and offers a forum of discussion on some hot-button and intricate legal matters.
