On 11^th - 12^th January 2020, the “10^th China IP International Annual Forum & 2020 Annual Conference of In-house IP Managers in China”, which is launched by the “China IP Magazine”, is held in Beijing.

The Forum, featuring “Breakthrough and Upgrading: China's Path towards Globalization”, focuses on exploring how business innovation and IP industry could evolve to adapt to a changing world. The Forum brings together more than 700 attendees, including prominent figures from government agencies, judiciaries, academia and in-house counsels from China, US, Germany, South Korea and Japan.

The opening ceremony is officiated by heavyweight speakers including Lin Guanghai, Vice President, Civil Adjudication Tribunal No. 3 (IPR Division), Supreme People’s Court (SPC), Professor Liu Chuntian, Chairman of the China Intellectual Property Law Association and Tommy Zhang, President and Editor-in-Chief of China IP Magazine. Wang Chuang, Vice President, IP Court, SPC, Yang Boyong, President of the Third Civil Division, Beijing High Court, Sun Hailong, Vice President of Chongqing High Court, Jiang Bo, VP, Tencent Legal Affairs Department as well as Mark Snyder, Deputy General Counsel, SVP of Qualcomm, delivered keynote speech.

In the evening of January 11, the winners of the “2019 Outstanding In-house IP Managers in China”, “2019 Emerging In-house IP Managers in China”, “2019 Outstanding IP Service Teams in China”, “2020 Most Recommended International IP Agencies”, “2019 Emerging IP Service Teams in China” and “2019 Outstanding IP Management Teams in China” are announced at a grand award ceremony at InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun.

Wanhuida Intellectual Property is included in the “2019 Outstanding IP Service Teams in China”. The firm’s Partner Zhu Zhigang accepts the prize on the podium. Partners Zhang Shuhua and Li Jie attend the event.

Launched in 2011, the Forum is lauded as most of the most influential annual events in China’s IP community.
