Wanhuida Partner Moderates WTR Session

Brand Strategy China 2020, which is a virtual WTR event, is held on 10 and 11 December 2020. The 2020 programme comprises four bilingual sessions of“Online shopping: your brand’s latest battleground”,“The rise of the brand protection machines”,“Managing enforcement matters within China’s borders”and“In bad faith”spreading across two half days, providing a unique and thought-provoking agenda encompassing both value creation as well as protection and overall brand strategy for delegates and speakers alike.


The“In bad faith”session explores how Chinese authorities are changing their approach to bad faith filings, presents real-world success stories and identifies best practices for combatting infringement. Panelists laser focus their discussion on the following topic:

  • Combatting bad faith filings: government and corporate responses
  • Litigating for the future: important wins that impact your brand in China
  • Best practices for working with the authorities


The session is moderated by Jason Yao, Partner and Management Committee Member of Wanhuida Intellectual Property.
