2021 BFSU-WANHUIDA Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition

The2021 BFSU-WANHUIDA Intellectual Property Moot Court Competitionwill return as a virtual event in the weekend of May 23 – 24, 2021.


The BFSU - WANHUIDA IP Moot Court Competition, which is jointly organised by the Law School of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and Wanhuida Intellectual Property, is the only English competition that strictly abides by the rules for international moot court and focuses on international intellectual property laws in China. Wanhuida has been its co-organiser since its first competition in 2008.


This year, winning teams will be eligible for the cash prize offered by“Wanhuida IP Awards”, a program created by the firm to commend individuals with exceptional academic achievements and profound understanding in intellectual property law.


Winning teams are also offered internship opportunities at the firm on a first-come, first-served basis:


  • Guaranteed internship opportunities are offered to oral members of the Champion and the best oralists.
  • Internship opportunities are also available to outstanding oralists and oral members of the runner-up and second runner-up, provided that the applicants pass the firm’s selection procedure.


This will be the 13thMoot Court competition jointly held by the BFSU Law School and Wanhuida. The competition was suspended last year due to Covid-19.
