On 14th October 2022, the MARQUES China Team hosts a webinar on “Chinese IP/TM Updates” to offer practical insights on some of the key trademark questions in the country.


The webinar covers the following topics:


The new Chinese trademark examination guidelines, effective from 1 January 2022;

CNIPA’s listed 10 general illicit trademark acts;

The attitude of CNIPA and the courts to letters of consent and co-existence agreements;

Actions against bad-faith filing and the leading cases of monetary punishment; and
