Wanhuida Ranked by China IP Magazine in 2023

On 27th January 2024, the “14th China IP International Annual Forum & 2024 Annual Conference of In-house IP Managers in China”, which is organised by the China IP Magazine, is held in Beijing.


Featuring “Pressing Ahead with Harmonious Symbiosis”, the event offers a forum of discussion over the reforms, challenges and growth opportunities of China’s intellectual property industry, against the backdrop that the initiative of building a IP powerhouse has been elevated to a national strategic priority. The Forum brings together a full house of attendees, including prominent figures from government agencies, judiciaries, academia, in-house counsels as well as law practitioners.


The opening ceremony is officiated by heavyweight speakers including Professor Ma Yide, distinguished professor and academic supervisor for LL.D candidates at the School of Intellectual Property, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qin Yuanming, Chief Judge, Civil Adjudication Tribunal No. 3 (IPR Division), Supreme People’s Court (SPC), AIPPI President Shoichi OKUYAMA, as well as INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo. The ceremony is hosted by Tommy Zhang, President and Editor-in-Chief of China IP Magazine.

The Forum features three main sessions theming “China IP Trend Forum”, “China IP Management Practice Forum” and “Legal Regulation on Malicious Abuse of IP Suits”, as well as two subforums theming “Judicial Protection of Data Rights” and “Hot-button Artificial Intelligence IP Matters”.


In the evening of 27th January, the winners of the “2023 Outstanding In-house IP Managers in China”, “2023 Outstanding IP Service Teams in China”, “2023 Outstanding Corporate IP Management Teams in China”, “2023 Most Recommended International IP Agencies”, as well as “2023 China IP Most Influential Figures” are announced.


Wanhuida Intellectual Property is again included in the “2023 Outstanding IP Service Teams in China”. The firm’s Senior Associate Lu Xue accepts the prize on the podium. Partner Wang Yuming also attends the event.
