Wanhuida Shanghai Office Sponsors Moot Court Competition
Under the auspices of the Shanghai Law Society, the 13th “Golden Mallet” Moot Court Competition, which is organised by the Shanghai University Law School and undertaken by the Shanghai University Lv Zhou Legal Aid Society and Shanghai University Intellectual Property Association, is held in Shanghai from 13th to 14th April, 2019.
A total of 15 undergraduate teams from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing Normal University, China University of Mining and Technology, Soochow University, Wenzhou University, Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and Shanghai University compete for the winner of the undergraduate group.
Ms. Huang Yang, President of the IPR Tribunal of the Yangpu District Court, Dr. Sisi Liang, Partner of Wanhuida Intellectual Property Shanghai Office and Ms. Guo Qi, lecturer of Shanghai University Law School, J.D., School of Law, Case Western Reserve University serve as the judges of the undergraduate group competition.
A total of 6 graduate teams from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, East China University of Science and Technology, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and Shanghai University compete for the winner of the graduate group.
Mr. Wang Limin, President of the IPR Tribunal of Xuhui District Court, Mr. Jack Su, Senior Partner of Wanhuida Shanghai Office as well as Professor Xu Chunming, Associate Dean of Shanghai University Law School and Dean of the Intellectual Property Institute of Shanghai University serve as the judges of the graduate group competition.
The teams of Nanjing University and Shanghai University win the best judge awards of the undergraduate and the graduate group. Fudan University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics tie for the best plaintiff award of the undergraduate group, and Tongji University wins the best plaintiff award of the graduate group. Tongji University and East China University of Political Science and Law win the best defendant awards of the undergraduate and the graduate group.
