On 30 October 2019, the“China Apparel Industry Intellectual Property Protection Forum”, which is jointly organised by the Beijing Intellectual Property Judicial Protection Society (BIPJPS) and the Intellectual Property Institute, Renmin University of China, is held in Beijing.

Pu Xiang, BIPJPS Secretary General moderates the forum. BIPJPS President Wang Mingda and President of China Intellectual Property Society Liu Chuntian deliver welcome speech. A panel discussion follows the keynote speech on “Intellectual Property Protection Status Quo of the Chinese Apparel Industry”. Zhang Weijun, Wanhuida Of Counsel and Dean of Research Center of IP Law and Competition Law in Tongji University serves as a panelist in the discussion.

The forum gathers representatives from apparel businesses, e-commerce platforms, industry associations as well as academia of the intellectual property field.
