Wanhuida Partners attend CPIPS in Shanghai

The 4th China Pharma Intellectual Property Summit (CPIPS) 2019, which is organized by Shanghai YIP Events, supported by Pharma IP Right Research Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, is held at Shanghai from 23 to 25 October 2019.

 

The summit is devoted to raise awareness of IP management in the pharmaceutical industry in China and promote pharmaceutical innovation. The first CPIPS is held in 2016.

 

The event gathers a record of 540 attendees from government agencies, industry associations, pharmaceutical/biotechnology corporations, as well as law practitioners and IP solution providers.

 

The summit, featuring“IP Challenges & Opportunities for Global Pharma Innovation”, covers panel discussion on “Focus on China: IP Reform, Patent Examination Practices and Challenges and Opportunities in the Context of Amendment to Patent Law and Drug Supervision Policy”, “Focus on US: Patent Layout,inter partes review, Generic Drug Launches, Biosimilar Patent Litigation and IP Strategy in US”, “Focus on Europe: Updates and Implication of Brexit, Unitary Patent & UPC and Patent Landscape of Global Antibodies”, “Focus on Japan, India, South Korea and Brazil: IP System, Patent Examination Practices, Case Studies of India Generic Company” as well as “Focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine: Patenting & Creativity Evaluation for TCM, IP Challenges and Opportunities of Going out”.
