On 19th March 2021 (Beijing time), the International Trademark Association (INTA) unveils the first session of itsLooking Through the Leadership Lenswebcast series, exploring critical topics on leadership and development through industry speakers with unique perspectives.

The first session, which themes“Trademark Office Leadership on Confronting Challenges in an Evolving Landscape”, focuses on leadership within a Trademark Office.

The session is moderated by Tiki Dare, 2021 INTA President and Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Oracle Corporation (USA). It features heavyweight speakers including Cláudio Furtado, President, Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) (Brazil), David Gooder, Commissioner for Trademarks, United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) (USA), as well as Mesmin Pierre, Director General, Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), sharing how, during these challenging and unpredictable times, they have served as leaders of their respective agencies and how they have learned in the process.
