From 8-9 April 2021, the China Intellectual Property & Innovation Summit 2021 (CIPIS 2021), which is organized by Conways Asia, is held in Shanghai.

The two-day event features panel discussion over the “Technical fact ascertaining system of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and its utilisation”, “Developments and revelation of the Supreme People’s Court’s Trial Practice over Technical Cases”, “Patent invalidity strategy in patent infringement proceeding”, “WeChat copyright protection in the context of the new Copyright Law”, “Dilemma and Solution to the Intellectual Property Protection of E-commerce Platforms”, “Updates on the dilemma of licensing negotiation over patent related to standards in the ICT field and the SEP litigation solution”, among others.

The event attracts over 40 heavyweight speakers including Qian Guangwen, Presiding Judge, Shanghai IP Court, in-house counsels from Amazon, Xiaomi, Dupont, Wyeth, Hai’er, Ericsson, IBM, Professor Li Shunde, China Academy of Social Sciences, and so forth.
