On 26^th May 2021, the first session of the “2021 Symposium on China Intellectual Property Forefront”, which is organized by Osaka Invention Association is held virtually. The first session features “Utilising cease & desist letter against intellectual property infringement in China”.

Wang Yuming, Partner of Wanhuida Intellectual Property delivers a keynote speech on “Bullet points on utilising cease & desist letter against intellectual property infringement in China”. Yuming first prepares the floor with an overall introduction on the efficacy of cease & desist letter in the intellectual property field. He then gives the attendees a crash course on the necessary preparation to be made before sending the cease & desist letters. Yuming concludes the presentation by dissecting the efficacy of cease & desist letter from a case law perspective.

The session attracts representatives from over 50 Japanese corporations and organisations including Panasonic, Yamaha, Konica Minolta, Softbank, JETRO, among others.
