Wanhuida Partner attends AIPPI World Congress 2021
The AIPPI World Congress Online 2021 is held virtually from 15th to 22nd October 2021. The Official Congress spread over 6 days, starting from mid-morning to early evening, European time, which facilitates attendees from Asia, Oceania as well as the Americas to join at times.
The Congress features plenary sessions on the famous AIPPI Study Questions, intriguing panel sessions, a myriad of AIPPI Café (virtual roundtables on a variety of hot topics), unique events like Women in AIPPI and the AIPPI Young Members Forum, among others.
The Congress features 4 plenary sessions, including: “Inventiveness and sufficiency of disclosure in AI inventions”, “Industrial Designs and the Role of Prior Art”, “Reasonable awareness in compensation for infringement of IP rights” and “Registrability of trade marks against public order or morality”.
Duan Xiaoling, Partner of Wanhuida Intellectual Property participates in the first three plenary session study as well as the voting and discussion process of the Executive Committee Meeting I, in her capacity as the Council member of AIPPI Chinese National Group.
Ms. Duan also moderates “AIPPI Café 33: The use of AI by IP offices”, which features insightful panel discussions centering on the utilization of artificial intelligence by IP offices around the world in terms of classification, search, examination and translation practice, the benefits and pitfalls therefrom.
