On 2nd December, 2017, under the auspices of the Shanghai Bar Association, the Second Binjiang Legal Forum (the Forum), which is jointly organised by the Xuhui Lawyers’ Working Committee and Xuhui Intellectual Property Protection Association, is held in Shanghai.

The Forum, theming “Improve IPR Legal Services to Fuel Scientific Innovation and Industrial Vitality”, features three sub-forums on trademark, patent and copyright. In the sub-forum featuring “Beef up trademark protection, promote brand competitive edge”, Dr. Huang Hui speaks on “Trademark Risk Control System aiming to Boost Competitive Edge”; Dr. Liang Sisi shares practical know-how on the “Trademark infringement damages claims & Strategy on Producing Proof”; and Dr. Yuan Zhenfu has a heated dialogue with Fu Gang, Vice Director of the IPR Committee with the Shanghai Bar Association, centering on brand competition and trademark management.

The Forum attracts about 300 attendees from local government and judiciary, business, IPR agencies as well as scholars and practitioners.
