On Friday May 19, 2017, three examiners from the European Patent Office (EPO) visit WAN HUI DA.

Dr. Alexander Deffner, head of the EPO Polymer Examination Department gives updates on the EPO's organisational structure and mission, as well as recent developments of European Patent Law and EPO examination practice. Mr. Roger Ferreira, head of examination panel introduces the examination benchmark for post-grant amendments to European patent. Examiner Matthieu Barrère explains the bureau's examination methodology on the analysis and assessment of the inventiveness of inventions by using case law demonstration.

WAN HUI DA Senior Partner Zhong Shouqi presides over the meeting. The firm's Senior Partners Duan Xiaoling and Zhang Guangyu as well as about 20 patent attorneys attend the meeting. The event also attracts four lawyers from the Legal Department of Bayer China.
