On December 19, 2017, the "SOUTHCHINA High-level Forum on Trademark & Brand" (the Forum), which is jointly organised by Guangdong Administration for Industry and Commerce (AIC) and the China Trademark Association (CTA), is convened in Guangzhou.

Entitled "International Registration & Protection of Trademark", the Forum features heavyweight speakers including Mr. Liu Junchen, Vice Commissioner of the State Administration for Industry & Commerce and Mr. Yuan Baocheng, Vice Governor of Guangdong Provincial People's Government. The Forum is moderated by Mr. Qian Yongcheng, Vice Director of Guangdong AIC.

Attendees include officials from the China Trademark Office, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board, CTA, the Trademark Examination and Cooperation Center (TECC) and the TECC Guangzhou Center, World Intellectual Property Organisation China Representative Office and trademark departments of Hong Kong and Macau, as well as heads of local AICs, trademark experts and corporate delegates.
