On 28th December, 2017, the "Third Intellect Neo Economy Forum and Beijing Intellectual Property Development Salon 2018 Annual Meeting", which is jointly organised by the Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Association, the Beijing Intellectual Property Development Salon (BIPDS) as well as the Artificial Intelligence & Intellectual Property Salon, is held in Beijing.

The forum is unveiled by the opening speech delivered by Deng Xiaoming, Vice Director of the Department of S&T for Social Development, Ministry of Science and Technology and Zhu Wuxiang, Professor and PhD supervisor of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management.

The event features panel discussion, launching ceremony of the Artificial Intelligence & Intellectual Property Salon, together with the Annual BIPDS awards. In the panel discussion featuring "Industry Segmentation: Focusing on Diversified Business Demands, Exploring the Blue Sea Market of IPR Service Industry", panelists share their insights on the "Future of the IPR Service Industry: Market Segment".

Panelists include Bai Gang, Senior Partner of Wanhuida, Jiang Danming, Executive Vice President of Chofn, Zhang Yong, Vice General Manager of Huazhi Shuchuang (Beijing) Technology Development Ltd., Guan Dian, Co-founder of Patsnap Information Technology (Suzhou) Ltd. as well as Meng Tan, Beijing Meng Zhi Wang Technology Ltd.

Entitled "Innovation and Intellectual Property, Impetus of Chinese Economy", the forum aims to provide guidance to various market players in furthering their IP protection efforts. The forum attracts over 200 attendees from local businesses, universities and law firms.
