On May 31, 2018, the “Trademark Practitioners’ Symposium in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao” (the Symposium) is held at the premises of the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce (AIC).

Ms. Elsie BS TSE, Assistant Director of Intellectual Property (Trade Marks), Intellectual Property Department, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Ms. Samantha, Cheang Hio Man, Head of the Intellectual Property Department, Economic Bureau, the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, officials from the Trademark Section of the Guangdong Provincial AIC, representatives from the Guangdong Time-honored Brands Association, Guangdong Trademark Association, as well as local IP law firms and trademark agencies attend the Symposium.

The Symposium features furthering of trademark brand strategy and facilitating brand development of time-honored brands under the framework of Guangdong – Hong Kong and Guangdong – Macao intellectual property cooperation agreement.
