From 19 to 23 of May, 2018, the 140th INTA Annual Meeting is convened in Seattle, United States. Nearly 11,000 registrants gathered in Seattle, Washington for educational sessions, networking, and socializing, culminating in the Grand Finale at the Seattle Center.

In the afternoon of Saturday May 19th, 2018, Wanhuida INTA Seminar, which is jointly organised by Wanhuida and Beijing JUSTRA Intellectual Property Center (JUSTRA), is held at Meeting room Ravenna C, Sheraton Seattle Hotel, Seattle.

The Seminar, featuring “New Trends on Trademark and Unfair Competition Case Law in China”, focuses on the application of the good faith principle in China’s latest administrative practice in the affirmation of trademark rights and trademark judicial protection practice. The firm’s Partner Yang Mingming and Senior Legal Counsel He Wei share, from a case law perspective, with the audience some trademark and unfair competition cases selected from the exemplary cases released by the Supreme People’s Court and courts at various levels before the World IP Day. Wanhuida Senior Partner Dr. Huang Hui and JUSTRA Director Dr. Wang Ze serve as commentators.

The Seminar attracts over a dozen attendees from Europe and the United States. The firm also launches its new English publications: “Unfair Competition in China” and “A Selection of China Supreme People’s Court Foreign Related Trademark and Unfair Competition Cases”.

Wanhuida has been hosting its INTA seminar since 2012.
