Wanhuida Senior Partner Addresses Justra Forum in Beijing

On July 18, 2018, under the auspices of the International Trademark Association, the Justra Forum featuring “International Outlook - Trademark Protection Trend in the Future” is held at Beijing Financial Street Grand Westin Hotel. The event is moderated by Dr. Wang Ze, Director of the Beijing Justra Intellectual Property Center, featuring heavyweight speakers from the IP academic and practice circles.

The event is unveiled by the opening remarks of Professor Liu Chuntian, Dean of the Intellectual Property Academy of Renmin University. Etienne Sanz de Acedo, CEO of the International Trademark Association (INTA) prepares the floor on INTA’s Policy Priorities, INTA Major Activities in Asia Pacific, as well as Key Messages to in China. The event is then followed by a keynote speech on “Updates of Alibaba IP Protection” delivered by Felix Fan, Senior Expert of Legal Department, Alibaba Group.

Dr. Huang Hui, Senior Partner of Wanhuida Peksung IP Group, speaks on “Outlook: Fourth Amendment to China’s Trademark Law from the Perspective of Comparative Law”, elaborating on the intensely debated matters from the angle of defense, offense and balance by analyzing the different approaches of China and the European Union.

The event is wrapped up by the closing remarks of Seth Hays, Chief Representative, Asia Pacific, INTA.
