On 5th December 2018, in order to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the promulgation of the Outline of China’s National Intellectual Property Strategy, Thomson Reuters releases its “White Paper on the Development of China’s Intellectual Property Service Industry” (the “White Paper”).

Thomson Reuters has launched, in January, a research process on the nation’s IP legal service industry, soliciting insights on matters including “What’s unique about China market and the market trend”, “How IP has been an important part of China’s growth and the role that IP firms play” and “What’s the future for the IP firms”.

Wanhuida is one of the 7 Chinese law firms that are invited to contribute their insights. The firm’s Senior Partners Dr. Huang Hui and Dr. S. Sam Li author the firm’s chapter and attend Thomson Reuters’ Close-door Meeting in June to exchange perspectives with peer practitioners from other contributing firms.
