On 10^th September, 2019, the Second Criminal Tribunal of the Guangzhou Intermediate Court holds the Symposium on Criminal Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property. The Symposium focuses on soliciting comments on the outstanding issues of the current IP criminal trial and IP protection regime.

Wanhuida Intellectual Property Senior Legal Counsel Chen Beiyin and Legal Counsel Tan Junqiu attend the symposium and discuss matters pertaining to fact ascertaining, evidence admission, conviction and sentencing, application of laws in the IP criminal proceeding.

The symposium has attracted attendees including lawmakers from local municipal people’s congress, attorneys at law as well as in-house counsels from Unilever, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited, among others.
