
Wanhuida Intellectual Property is pleased to announce that partners Zhu Zhigang and Lei Yongjian will join the firm’s Management Committee effective February 6, 2026.
Mr. Zhu Zhigang joined Wanhuida in 2005 and became a partner in 2010. Zhigang has been a long-time contributor to the firm. He now serves as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Shanghai Office. Zhigang is a leading lawyer in the IP field. He has been on the lists of ALB’s “China Top 15 IP Lawyers” and the “IAM Strategy 300 Global Leaders.” Zhigang holds an LLB from France Poitiers University and an M.Sc. from Paris Graduate School of Management (ECOLE SUPERIEURE DE GESTION).
Mr. Lei Yongjian joined Wanhuida in 2010 and became a partner in 2015. Yongjian has been a star in the firm’s trademark practice, which he now leads. He also oversees the firm’s international marketing initiatives. Yongjian is a recognized trademark practitioner. ALB includes him in its “China Top 15 IP Lawyers” and the World Trademark Review ranks him as a Leading Individual. Yongjian holds an LLM from the Stanford Law School and a Juris Master from Peking University Law School.
Chaired by Founding Partner Bai Gang, the Committee oversees the firm’s overall operations, including client service, professional development, strategic growth, as well as policies sustaining the firm’s long-term health. The appointments of Zhigang and Yongjian reflect our commitment to strong governance. They have substantial experience and understand the firm’s culture and long-term objectives. They will bring fresh perspectives and expand the committee’s capacity as we move forward.
