From March 6 to 7, 2026, the Fifth Council Meeting of the Guangdong IP Protection Association (GDIPPA) & the “Intellectual Property Cross-border Protection Forum” is held in Guangzhou.

The GDIPPA leverages the council meeting to commend members that are committed to the organisation’s initiatives. Wanhuida Intellectual Property is rated as an Outstanding Partner by the GDIPPA, and the firm’s Partner Xie Minnan is listed as one of the “Outstanding Experts in 2025”.

She offers systematic solutions for corporate intellectual property risk control, by dissecting the patent prewarning mechanisms available at different stages and accentuating the nuances in infringement assessment in China, the United States and EU. Minnan proposes that the Chinese businesses should work in concert with its domestic and foreign counsels to build a cross-border patent service network to help them build solid patent portfolios.
