Wanhuida Partner Speaks at IoT Symposium
On 31st October 2020, the “Symposium
on the Sustainable Innovation and Development of IoT Industry” (the
Symposium), which is jointly launched by the TECH·IP ECONOMY magazine and the
Intellectual Property Research Institute of Xiamen University, is convened in
Xiamen.
The Symposium features panel discussion centering “Cooperation
and Challenge in the Automobile Communication Industry” and the “Novel Licensing
Pattern of the IoT Industry”. Panelists are representatives from industry, intellectual
property academia and judiciary.
Heavyweight speakers include Hu Shengtao, Director,
IPR Policy, Ericsson, Assistant Professor Yang Zhengyu of the Intellectual
Property Research Institute of Xiamen University, Teemu Soininen, Head,
Automotive Licensing Program, Nokia, Judge Song Jian, Jiangsu High Court, as
well as Associate Professor Tan Yuan, University of Chinese Academy of Social
Sciences. Lin Xiuqin, Dean of the Intellectual Property Research Institute of
Xiamen University moderated the panel discussion. Judge Ling Zongliang, Intellectual
Property Court of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) and Presiding Judge Yin Wei,
Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Wuhan Intermediate Court shared comments
on the recent FRAND licensing case law.
