On 24th May 2022, the Asian Legal Business magazine releases in its China May 2022 issue the 2022 ALB China IP Rankings. Wanhuida Intellectual Property is ranked in Tier 1 Trademark / Copyright and Tier 2 Patents in the category of China Domestic Firms.

According to HU YANGXIAOXIAO, ALB China Editor, “As the Chinese government has made it a national policy to ‘build a powerhouse with intellectual property rights’, the country’s IP field is expected to develop even more rapidly. The winning firms in this year’s ALB China IP rankings are undoubtedly helping to show the way forward.”

The IP ranking is based on an extensive research process, from which ALB draws information from firm submissions, interviews, editorial resources and market insights to identify and rank the top firms for Intellectual Property in China. The IP rankings are separated into two tables: “Patent” and “Trademark/Copyright” and are also divided into tiers, with the first tier identifying the strongest IP firms in each jurisdiction.

The rankings are based on the metrics, including 1) the volume, complexity and size of work undertaken, 2) presence across Asia and in individual jurisdictions, 3) key personnel hires and growth of the practice group, 4) key clients and new client wins, 5) firm’s visibility and profile in the region and 6) year-on-year development and momentum.
