Wanhuida Partner speaks at 2021 IP Economy Forum

On 17th July 2021, under the auspices of the Intellectual Property Tribunal of Shanghai High Court, the “2021 IP Economy Forum: Practical Challenges”, which is jointly organized by the Pudong District Court of Shanghai and IP Economy, is held in Shanghai.

 

The event, which is themed “Application of the Clause Concerning Internet Unfair Competition Principle”, attracts heavyweight speakers including Tang Maoren, Presiding Judge, Intellectual Property Tribunal, Jiangsu High Court, Tong Shu, Presiding Judge, Intellectual Property Tribunal, Supreme People’s Court, among others.

 

Wu Jinshui, President, Pudong District Court of Shanghai delivers welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Xu Jun, Presiding Judge, Intellectual Property Tribunal, Pudong District Court of Shanghai releases the “Industry Practice and Logic of Law in the Context of Internet Economy: Study Report on the Application of Internet Catch-all Clause” and Internet Unfair Competition Exemplary Cases of Pudong District Court of Shanghai.

 

Apart from the heavyweight speakers, in-house counsels from Internet magnets like Xiaomi, Tencent, Baidu and Alibaba, Professor Chen Bing, Director of Competition Law Research Center, Nankai University School of Law, Associate Professor Jiang Ge, School of Law, Tsinghua University, delivered keynote speeches.

 

Wanhuida Intellectual Property Partner Zhang Han speaks on “Impact of Article 2 of Anti-unfair Competition Law on the Assessment of Internet Unfair Competition Acts”.

 

The forum is concluded by Liu Junhua, Presiding Judge, Intellectual Property Tribunal, Shanghai High Court. The event attracts about 200 attendees from academia, judiciary and industries.
