On February 25, 2023, the “Symposium on the 5^th Draft Amendment to the Trademark Law”, which is organized by the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL), is held in Shanghai.

The symposium is moderated by Yu Bo, Associate Dean of Intellectual Property School, ECUPL. Professor Cong Lixian, Dean of Intellectual Property School, ECUPL delivers a welcoming remark at the event.

Dr. Huang Hui, Partner and Management Committee member of Wanhuida Intellectual Property attends the symposium virtually. Dr. Huang shares his insights surrounding the proposed clauses pertaining to the efficacy and entry-into-force time of trademark revocation and invalidation decisions.

The Symposium invites a slew of academicians, judges, trademark practitioners and in-house counsels to brainstorm the advisable amends to the draft.
