Wanhuida Partner speaks at LES virtual event

On 14th March 2023, the third session for Track 3 of the LESI Thought Leadership Program, which is themed “China: Developments in Mediation and Arbitration”, is held virtually.


The hour-long session is part of the LESI Thought Leadership Program, which is a professional learning series aiming at providing a “deep dive” on three topical tracks of “SEPS”, “AUTOMOTIVE” and “MEDIATION & ARBITRATION”. Organized and facilitated by licensing industry experts, LESI leverages the program to promote conversations related to intellectual property policy and the tactical use of IP assets.


The session features four speakers, including Tillman Mueller-Stoy, Partner of Bardehle, Adam Rattray, Head, Information and External Relations Section, WIPO, Jing Mi, WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, Shanghai and Jason Yao, Partner and Management Committee member, Wanhuida IP.


In his capacity of Arbitrator of Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), Jason first prepares the floor with a brief introduction on China’s arbitration regime and noteworthy trends thereof, he then moves on to the unparallel benefits arbitration offers in settling legal disputes in the country.




Session # 1 and Session #2 of Track 3 focus on “Primer on Dispute Resolution” and “Resolving IP Disputes using Mediation & Arbitration”.
