On 5 July 2023, Managing IP hosted a gala dinner at the JW Marriott Hotel, Hong Kong to celebrate with the Asia-Pacific winners of the 18^th annual Managing IP Awards.

Wanhuida Intellectual Property is chosen as China Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year and China Trademark Disputes Firm of the Year. The firm saw off strong competition from firms who have performed exceptionally at both local and national levels. Jason Yao, Wanhuida Partner and Management Committee member, accepts the awards on behalf of the firm.

The firm was shortlisted in a record five categories, including “Patent Disputes Firm of the Year”, “Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year”, “Trade Mark Disputes Firm of the Year” and “Trade Mark Prosecution Firm of the Year” in China jurisdiction, as well as “Asia-Pacific – IP Boutique Firm of the Year”. The firm’s Partner and Management Committee member Dr. Huang Hui was also shortlisted in the “Practitioner of the Year (Domestic Firms)”.
