On September 30, 2017, under the auspices of the Menghai People's Government, the "9th Menghai International Tea Festival" (the Festival), which is jointly organised by Wanhuida Peksung Yunnan Office and Menghai Federation for Social Sciences, is held at Menghai County, Yunnan Province.

The Festival features the "Pu'er Tea - Wine Dialogue Forum", which addresses the geographical indication protection issues of Pu'er tea and wine in China and France. Wanhuida Peksung Of Counsel Paul Ranjard speaks on "Organisation of Wine Industry in France" at the forum.

In the opening ceremony, Wanhuida Peksung Senior Partner Bai Gang signs the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Intellectual Property Protection of Menghai Tea GI Certification Mark" with Chen Jianfeng, Director of Menghai Tea Technology Service Center.

The firm's Partner Liu Bin also attends the Festival. The event attracts over 500 attendees including governmental officials, experts from the tea industry, businesses and medias.
